Michael Dikman has concentrated his practice in Matrimonial & Family Law for over 45 years. He has been the Chairman of the Queens County Bar Association's Family Law Committee for 29 years, has held various offices and been a long time member of the Board of Managers of both the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the New York State Bar Association's Family Law Section. He has delivered annual lectures on the development of the Equitable Distribution Law since its 1980 passage, and has done substantial other lecturing and writing in this field of law. He was one of only six unaffiliated Family Law practitioners appointed to former Chief Judge Judith Kaye's New York State Divorce Commission, which operated from 2004 - 2006. In 2004 he was given the Queens County Bar Association's first annual award for Academic Excellence.
